PORTLAND, Ore. — Chynna Greene is an Emmy award-winning journalist whose reports can be found on KGW news during the week. Chynna also anchors KGW News at Sunrise on the weekends.

Before joining the team in August of 2023, Chynna worked as a morning anchor/reporter at FOX 13 Seattle, specializing in breaking news. When she wasn't covering hard news, you could find Chynna eating or learning something new, live on-air. Her favorite live report was executing a trapeze routine she was taught within 15 minutes.

Her first introduction to the PNW was in 2018 at KEZI in Eugene, OR.  Chynna was the evening anchor who also produced her own newscast. Prior to that, she was an anchor/reporter at WVLT in Knoxville, TN where she reported on stories ranging from the devastating Gatlinburg wildfires to covering Vol football games at Neyland Stadium.

Chynna was born and raised in Las Vegas. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Media Studies. She was also a cheerleader for UNLV and is a die-hard Rebels fan.

In her free time, Chynna enjoys trying new restaurants, cooking and hot, summer days.
